Since 2023, the festival has been held in the gardens of the Lydia in Le Barcar\u00e8s.<\/p>\n Until 2019, the festival was held in the grounds of the Ch\u00e2teau de Valmy in Argel\u00e8s-sur-Mer. This park, which offers one of the finest views of the coast, has been managed by the town of Argel\u00e8s since 1987.<\/p>\n We invite you to visit this place to enjoy this quiet park (except during the festival of course…), test and\/or buy wines (we particularly recommend “Les Roses Blanches de Valmy<\/a>“) or have lunch \/ dinner at “La Table de Valmy<\/a>” in this very pleasant environment (see also our article about Argel\u00e8s restaurants<\/a>).<\/p>\n After 2 years without a festival due to the Covid epidemic, the festival was held in 2022 at the Ch\u00e2teau d’Aubiry in C\u00e9ret.\u00a0This eclectic neo-baroque style castle, built between 1893 and 1904, was commissioned by industrialist Pierre Bardou-Job from Danish architect Viggo Dorph-Petersen.<\/span><\/p>\n In reality, Pierre Bardou wanted to offer a castle to each of his 3 children. There will therefore be Aubiry Castle in C\u00e9ret for his son Justin, Ducup Park Castle for his daughter Camille and Valmy Castle for his daughter Jean.<\/span><\/p>\n Below are the artists who are announced for this 2025 edition. <\/span><\/p>\n Nota Bene\u00a0:\u00a0the artists running order is generally not communicated\u00a0by the festival until the last minute.<\/p>\n To attend the “Les Deferlantes” Festival, you have the choice between a day pass, a 2-day pass, a 3-day pass and a 4-day-pass<\/a><\/p>\n It will take you about 30 minutes to get to Aubiry Castle, located 25 km from the hotel.
