Respect for the environment is of central importance to us. For ourselves, for you and for future generations, we do our utmost to minimize the impact of our activity.<\/p>\n

In concrete terms, we have set up 25 concrete actions to<\/p>\n

To save energy<\/span><\/h1>\n

1 – Carrying out a full energy performance diagnosis
\n2- Monthly monitoring of our electricity consumption
\n3 – 100% LED light bulbs & class A energy efficiency
\n4 – The swimming pool is covered and heated by a heat pump
\n5 – Automatic switching off of lights in 80% of rooms and corridors
\n6 – Replacement of the oil-fired boiler with solar collectors + natural gas back-up<\/p>\n

To save water<\/span><\/h1>\n

7 – Carrying out a full diagnostic of water consumption
\n8 – Monthly monitoring of our water consumption
\n9 – Reducing the flow rate of taps and showers to 8 litres\/minute with no loss of comfort
\n10 – Flush toilets reduced to 6 litres\/minute
\n11 – 100% of taps fitted with fast, accurate temperature control
\n12 – Change of sheets and towels at guests’ request
\n13 – Automatic watering system to optimise watering times<\/p>\n

To sort our waste<\/span><\/h1>\n

14 – Installation of waste bins in each room.
\n15 – Sorting, collection and disposal of hazardous waste (toners, batteries, light bulbs, oils, paints, glues)
\n16 – Refillable products (shampoos, gels, soaps) in every room
\n17 – Limitation of individual breakfast portions
\n18 – Use of rechargeable batteries
\n19 – Sorting and composting garden waste<\/p>\n

To raise awareness among our staff and guests<\/span><\/h1>\n

20 – Provision of information on public transport (train, bus) and bicycle hire
\n21 – Choice of local products at breakfast (jams \/ fruit juices \/ specialities)
\n21 – Staff training
\n22 – Information and proposals for concrete action to be taken by customers
\n23 – Automatic dosage of disinfectants for the swimming pool and jacuzzis
\n24 – Creation of an educational garden for children
\n25 – Construction of a Tiny House to house a seasonal worker<\/p>\n
