The 36th International Festival of Photojournalism (“Visa pour l’image), will be held in Perpignan from Saturday 31 august to Sunday 15 September 2024.
Considered the largest photojournalism festival you will discover in particular the work of various journalists
To demonstrate the reality of our troubled world and sometimes awake our sleeping consciences, these journalists have chosen photography.
Exhibitions
Throughout the city, testimonies of journalists from worldwide and open-air screenings in the beautiful Campo Santo cloister adjacent to the Cathedral of St John of Perpignan.
Some dates and times
– Exhibitions: every day from Saturday 31 august to Sunday 15 September , from 10am to 20pm
– Screenings: every day from Monday 2 to Saturday 7 September, at the Campo Santo (Every night for 6 days, 2 months of the past year are reviewed )
– Meetings / Conferences: every day from Monday 2 to Saturday 7 September at the convention center (Programme)
For residents of the hotel, know that the regional train takes you in less than 20 minutes to Perpignan – Easy and green.
Several awards are given each year: the “Golden Visas” (categories News, Magazine, Daily Press) and the price of the city of Perpignan.
Do not hesitate to buy the book compiling the work of Camille Lepage, French photojournalist killed in May 2013 in the Central African Republic, at the age of 26 years. You will contribute to the endowment of a new price, Camille Lepage price that will remind us of the courage of these photojournalists.
